We are seeking highly qualified and motivated individuals to join our sea-going team in a Deck Officer position. In this essential role, you will play a vital part in the efficient and safe operation of the ships deck department. As a Officer, you will be responsible for the safe transit of the vessel, crane operations, navigation, management of crew and communication with government employees/ various naval commands.

Duties:
Maintain charts and publications.

Inspect and maintain ship safety equipment.

Prepare all voyage plans; make daily report to the Master on voyage progress.

Perform cleaning, painting, maintenance duties as directed by the Chief Mate.

Primary on board representative who shall have the authority of and responsibility for
enforcing contractor work rules, advising the Government on matters relating to good
order and conduct, and matters requiring immediate attention while underway and in port.

Stand navigation watches as assigned per operational requirements.

STCW Requirements:

Unlimited License; OICNW; Able Seafarer-Deck; RFPNW;PSC; Medical care
Provider; ADV FF; Basic Training; GMDSS Operator; ECDIS
(Unlimited); Lifeboatman; Wiper; Stewards Department (FH).
