Need United States Coast Guard licensed Ordinary Seaman or Able Seaman for a position of cook on tugboat in the central gulf area of Alaska. Approximate start date is October 1, 2025. The position is 6 weeks on the vessel and 6 weeks off the vessel.The cook is responsible for menu planning, all shopping for food items / beverages, food preparation, serve 3 meals per day for the crew of six, perhaps prepare snacks, and all kitchen clean-up.

The individual may be asked to assistant with docking & undocking the vessel and moving cargo. OS/cook is $385/day and AB/ cook is $425/day

preference given to those who have prior experience as cook on a vessel. Hiring company pays for airfare within the continental United States and hotel as necessary during long layovers.

This is a permanent cook position with paid benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401K.
