Oasis Systems has an exciting opportunity for a full time Ship Master to support naval Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) test and evaluation in San Diego, CA.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills)

This candidate must have experience with the following:

EXPERIENCE LEVEL: Three years of sea-going experience in a Master’s position.

EDUCATION: HS diploma.

CERTIFICATIONS AND TOOLS: USCG 200-ton or greater Master’s license.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must be eligible for a Secret clearance.

TRAVEL: Some travel may be required.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

3 years of sea-going experience in a Master’s position.
Current USCG Master’s license for 200 tons or more.
Experience piloting jet-drive boats.
Demonstrated proficiency operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex automated ship control systems.
Demonstrated experience managing shipyard upkeep periods.
Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
