Barge Engineers

·         Responsible for the safety of the crew and barge at all times

·         Learn, understand and operate the barge systems (airflows, burners, diesel generators, hydraulic boom operation, valve operation, electrical system operations)

·         Monitor and record system operations and transmit data/communicate with customer

·         Responsible for all safety and operational procedures including dealing with fuels and gases

·         Oversee and assist with vessel mooring process

·         Ensure all operations are in compliance with company policies and procedures

·         Conduct regular inspections of all interior and exterior areas and report findings to Operations Manager

·         Perform other tasks as directed
