Join our Catalina Island floating Sea Camp as a Deck hand and get hours towards you captain’s license.  We have a history of mentoring staff to their 100 ton License.

Position: Deckhand on Enhyrda

-All outside and structural cleaning & maintenance of Enhydra; ongoing upkeep of rust and painting (includes voids).

-Responsible for ensuring all items identified as household on the ship are working and up to customer standards.  A weekly board of fixes/needs will be maintained.  Specific areas of accountability:
All state rooms and crew quarters (including bathrooms; plumbing; fixtures; lights; bunks; miniblinds; windows; doors; thresholds, etc.)
-Common areas (wet room; dining hall; hallways; stairs; eagles nest)
-Key household operating systems (ice machine; garbage disposal; galley appliances; water heating; overall electrical systems)

-Night Watch

-If candidate has a 6 pack, drive tender with patrons.

– Projects as assigned.
