Sandra Mabry – A San Diego native, Sandra joined Maritime Institute in 2023 as Student Services Assistant, and in 2024 gained a new role as Credentialing Services Consultant.  She brings over 30 years of Front Desk, Customer Service and Administrative Assistance to our students and staff.  For BMW and Carvin Guitars, Sandra gained experience leading and mentoring front desk teams.  Sandra was the solo Administrative staff for a startup semiconductor company during the tech boom of the late 90’s, Anchor Chips, Inc.; developers of a precursor to Bluetooth technology.  Showing successful rapid growth, Cypress Semiconductor acquired the startup and the rights to their next generation wireless technology.  Since 2017, she has been working in the Finance and Accounting field.  At the end of 2022, Sandra tested and earned her IRS and FTB credentials as a registered Tax Preparer.

Prior to joining Maritime Institute, Sandra also had a successful career as a 3^rd generation Master seamstress. Leveling up from Apprentice to full creation of bespoke window coverings.  Creating beautiful, useful everyday items from concept and raw materials, she delights in the unique nature of each project and loves being in the flow of deep creative concentration.

In her down time, finds fun adventuring out in nature with her daughter and two rescue pups.  Sandra loves being at home in the garden, cooking and enjoying the San Diego sunshine.
