ADVANCED FIRE FIGHTING REVALIDATION

Our U.S. Coast Guard Approved Advanced Fire Fighting Revalidation course outlines the following lessons:
1.0 Control Fire-Fighting Operations Aboard Ship (Tasks 1.5.A and 1.3.A)
2.0 Organize and Train Fire Parties
(Tasks 2.1.A and 2.1.B)
3.0 Inspect and Service Fire Detection and Extinguishing Systems and Equipment (Tasks 3.1.A and 3.1.B)
4.0 Investigate and Compile Reports on Incidents Involving Fire (Tasks 4.1.A, 4.1.B, and 4.1.C)
 
 
To qualify for renewing your Advanced Fire Fighting endorsement by taking this 1-day Revalidation course, you should ensure you meet the requirements for renewal of STCW Advanced Fire Fighting. A Revalidation course REQUIRES 360 DAYS of qualifying sea service on vessels that are required to hold drills.

Any applicant who has successfully completed your Advanced Fire Fighting Revalidation (MARINS-777) course will satisfy: The Advanced Fire Fighting continued standards of competence required by 46 CFR 11.303(b) for mariners who have previously held an Advanced Fire Fighting endorsement under STCW Code Section A-VI/3, PROVIDED that the mariner has at least 1 year of sea service within the last 5 years; STCW Code Section A-VI/3 and Table A-VI/3, as amended 2010, meeting the National Assessment Guidelines from NVIC 09-14(Ch-1) Tasks 1.3.A, 1.5.A, 2.1.A, 2.1.B, 3.1.A, 3.1.B, 4.1.A, 4.1.B and 4.1.C. Applicants who have successfully completed your course need not present completed “Task Control Sheets” for these assessments in application for STCW certification.
