BOATER 202: MARINE ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS

Course Description
This course is designed to benefit recreational and professional mariners who operate private vessels utilizing 30, 50 and 100 amp ac/dc electrical systems.
This course covers marine electrical system components, wiring practices and diagrams, alternating current and direct current powered components, troubleshooting and repair.
Students will be taught how to use a multimeter to troubleshoot electric system failures and proper wiring techniques, with both lecture and hands on instruction.
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to perform basic wiring installations and repairs on their vessels.

Schedules:
The 5-day courses in SAN DIEGO are held in the evenings Monday-Friday 6PM – 9PM.
The 2-day courses in HONOLULU are held in the daytime 8AM – 4:30PM.
