Training Gear Sizes – Basic Fire Fighting (BFF)

To ensure a safe and comfortable training experience, the Maritime Institute offers firefighting gear with the following maximum and minimum equipment sizes.

• Firefighting Turn Out Jackets – Sizes 32-52
• Firefighting Turn Out Pants – Sizes 32-52
• Firefighting Boots – Men’s size 6-15
• Firefighting Gloves – Sizes Small – 2X Large

We are confident that we can accommodate 99.9% of students with the correct equipment sizes. However, if you believe you may fall outside of the listed size ranges, we kindly ask that you contact us at least one week prior to your training. This will allow us to make the necessary arrangements to meet your specific needs.
