FISHING VESSEL DRILL INSTRUCTOR

Our training program has been carefully designed to follow the guidelines of 46 CFR 28.270 for instruction, drills, and safety orientation, as well as established training standards both internationally and in the United States.
This program will cover cold-water survival skills; EPIRBs, signal flares, and mayday calls; man-overboard recovery and firefighting; flooding, damage control, and dewatering pumps; immersion suits and PFDs, helicopter rescue, life rafts, abandon ship procedures, and emergency drills.
The course meets the 46 CFR 28.270 training requirements for drill conductors on commercial fishing vessels. An excellent opportunity for commercial fishermen and other mariners to gain hands-on training with marine safety equipment and learn best practices for surviving emergencies at sea.
