About the Opportunity:

The Seasonal Waterbus Captain transports passengers around 8 separate docks at the Marina. Must have excellent customer service and communication skills. Candidates must have 1 year of recent experience as a Captain. Our employees have public contact, therefore we are looking for candidates who take pride in their appearance, have superb customer service, and communication skills.

About You:

The perfect candidate takes pride in their appearance, has superb customer service skills, and posesses excellent communication skills. A flexible schedule is a must as it includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences’ RESPECT Service System.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operates company vessels legally and safely
• Supervisor onboard crew
• Enforces crew and passenger safety
• Administrative duties including, computer work, and some cash handling
• Filling out shipboard logs, and reports
• Conduct crew training, drills, and exercises
• Participates in USCG inspections
• Narration / make announcements over PA system
• Verifies the vessels have been properly secured after sailing
• Additional job duties assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• USCG 50 ton License or higher
• High School or equivalence
