Fishing Guide Position – Nushagak River Adventures Lodge (fishthenush.com)

Location: Nushagak River, Alaska

Position Available:  We are currently looking to fill one more king guide position (June 11-July 17) and one more silver guide position (Aug 1-15th) for this season.  There is also the possibility of working our whole season (June 11-Aug 15th) if interested.

Requirements:  Current OUPV, USCG six-pack license

Ability to operate a 16-22 foot, open fishing vessel with 90hp tiller motor.

Team player, willing to help and receive help from fellow guides

Preferred with salmon guiding experience but not necessary

Accommodations: Our lodge owner provides transportation from the guide’s home to the lodge, great food and accommodations for the guides.

Fishing: We fish the Nushagak River for Kings and Silvers. Preferred techniques for king salmon include down stream trolling spinners, drifting with egg, and back trolling plugs. Preferred techniques for silver salmon include casting jigs and spinners, downstream trolling spinners, back bouncing eggs, and back trolling plugs.
