Sail San Diego, San Diego”s #1 Sailing Tour Company, is hiring full and part time captains for the Summer 2022 Season. Come sail with one of the funnest, professional, and best-rated sail charter companies around!

Responsibilities Include:

• Welcoming guests and captaining our fleet of 36-42ft Catalinas on daily tours of San Diego Bay and the Pacific Ocean.
• Maintaining a high standard of detail on the boats. Keeping systems running in coordination with our program.
• Communicating with guests a love of all things sailing and San Diego.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Maintaining a professional, drug and drama free environment.

Requirements:

• OUPV-6 Pack License or above with sailing endorsement.
• Experience in single-hand sailing basic keelboats and coastal cruising.
• Experience in and around San Diego Bay.

You should be comfortable with:

• Solo sailing and docking a 36-42′ sailboat up to 3x a day.
• Sailing instruction.
• Keeping a professional and well dressed demeanor.
• Respecting fellow colleagues and charter guests.
