General Statement of Duties 

Performs maintenance and repairs on marine structures, buildings, and equipment for the Department of Parks and Recreation Marine & Facility Division.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma, plus three (3) years experience in the marine trades including the maintenance, handling, storage, and mooring of moderate-sized vessels and related marine structures and equipment.

Licenses and Certifications:

T-10
Valid Connecticut Safe Boating Certificate.
Must obtain a U.S. Coast Guard 100 Ton Masters Inland Captain’s License within eighteen (18) months of employment.
Must obtain Federal Communications Commission Marine Operators Radio License within six (6) months of employment.
