RCUH Non-Civil Service position with the University of Hawai‘i Marine Center (UHMC), located at Pier 35 in Honolulu Harbor, Oahu, Hawai‘i. Note: No requirement to live in Hawaii, travel is arranged to and from vessel by UHMC.

1st Assistant Engineer: Must possess a 1st Assistant Engineer – Motor Propelled Vessels License – Unlimited, Officer In Charge of an Engineering Watch (OICEW), and a valid USCG STCW Medical Certificate. Must possess a current MMC and required STCW documentation of training and validity for licenses. Valid TWIC and US Passport required. Ability to pass pre-employment drug test or hold current drug testing verification letter. Must be US citizen.
