Allan W. Pedtke is a happily retired USN Damage Control Chief Petty Officer with 24 years of honorable service. He finished A.A.S. Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, and Heating in 1988. His ships include the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72), USS McKee (AS-41), USS Russell (DDG-59), USS Stethem (DDG-63), and USS San Jacinto (CG-56). His numerous roles include acting as an Underway Damage Control and Assessor, Engineering Department Supervisor, Afloat Training Specialist for fire systems and shipboard repair lockers, and a Senior Damage Control Training Officer for multiple platforms. He is a Basic Training Instructor for 10 years and is currently in the operations department at Maritime Institute. On his free time, he volunteers at St. Gregory The Great Men’s Club, rendering aid and charity for our local community. When he is not sharing his passion for assisting others, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family.
