Emily joined Maritime Institute in October 2025 as a Student Services Associate and is passionate about assisting mariners in their training and educational endeavors.

Originally from Connecticut, she obtained her BFA in Creative Writing from Chapman University in California before relocating to central Florida where she worked in the Activity Center at Citrus Hills Golf & Country Club, enrolling members in various classes and events. She relocated again in 2025 to Washington state where she now enjoys spending her free time exploring the Pacific Northwest, as well as reading, writing fiction, listening to music, and birdwatching.
