Mark Humburg joined the Maritime Institute in September 2024 as its Director of Finance.  In September 2025, he was promoted to VP of Finance and Administration.  He holds a Master of Professional Accountancy from the University of California, San Diego, as well as a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts, both obtained from the University of California, Irvine.  Mark possesses over twelve years of experience in senior management within Accounting and Finance departments, as well as he has successfully overseen numerous ERP implementations, tax audit matters, and has experience working with target acquisition (diligence/discovery and post-closing integrations).

Mark resides in San Diego, California with his wife and three wonderful children.  Outside of work, Mark enjoys running, traveling, and coaching little league baseball.
