Bart is a retired U.S. Coast Guard Chief Boatswain’s Mate whose career is built on over two decades of high-level maritime leadership, including service as an Executive Petty Officer. He brings a formidable 2,000 days of sea time documented aboard Coast Guard Cutters, complemented by an eight-month deployment to Guantanamo Bay leading critical waterside security operations. Currently serving as a Professional Yacht Captain and holding a 100 Ton Master license, Bart instructs the 100 Ton Captain’s Course and various other maritime courses, translating his ongoing sea service into practical classroom insights. Now based in San Diego, he leverages this deep operational history to deliver veteran-led training in Fast Rescue Boat (FRB) operations and Proficiency in Survival Craft (PSC), ensuring all instruction exceeds USCG NVICS standards and prepares mariners for the realities of life at sea.
