Chief Warrant Officer Tremayne Fredrick was born in Hemingway, SC. Where he
enlisted in the Navy on 22 July 1997 and completed Recruit Training and Fireman
“ATD” School in Great Lakes, IL.
His duty assignments include USS Guam (LPH-9) from 1997 to 1998, USS Oak Hill
(LSD-51) 1998, NAB Little Creek Security from 1998 to 2000, USS Robert G. Bradley
(FFG-49) from 2001 to 2003, USS Gonzalez (DDG-66)/USS Laboon (DDG-51) from
2003 to 2005, Mobile Diving Salvage Unit Two from 2006 to 2007, Explosive Ordnance
Disposal Expeditionary Support Unit Two from 2007 to 2011, Patrol Coastal Crew Mike
from 2011-2013, where he advanced to Chief Petty Officer, Afloat Training Group
Norfolk from 2013-2016, where he commissioned to Chief Warrant Officer. Served as
Ship’s Fire onboard USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75) from 2016-2019. Served as Main Propulsion
Assistant onboard USS Ramage age (DDG-61) from 2020-2021. Served as Officer in Charge at Surface
Warfare Service Command from 2022-2024. As Technical Readiness Staff at Expeditionary Strike Group Two,
were he retired after serving 28.5 years of faithful service.
His personal awards include the following: Navy Commendation Medal (two awards),
Navy Achievement Medal (five awards) and various unit, campaign and service awards.
