Any applicant who has successfully completed your Crisis Management & Human Behavior
(MARINS-138) course will satisfy:
⦁ The Crisis Management & Human Behavior training requirements of 46 CFR
11.1105(a)(1)(iii); STCW Code Section A-V/2 paragraph 4, as amended 2010; AND
⦁ The Passenger Safety, Cargo Safety, and Hull Integrity training requirements of 46 CFR
11.1105(a)(1)(iv); STCW Code Section A-V/2 paragraph 5, as amended 2010; AND
⦁ The Crisis Management & Human Behavior standards of competence required by
STCW Code Section A-V/2 paragraph 4 and Table A-V/2-2, as amended 2010.

Control response to emergencies.
Control passengers and other personnel during emergency situations.
