Course Description

Introduction to welding class will provide basic knowledge and language of welding. The class is designed to cater to working individuals that are interested but not sure if they want to get into welding. This class is also beneficial to those that weld or want to weld as a hobby/art activity at home. This class is an opportunity to have any questions answered and bad habits broken. There will be no worksheets or projects. At the end of the class, a test will be given to see what was retained. Class introduces students to: The most common welding procedures The basic welding language and symbols Shows students how to set up and operate welding machine E7018 1F, 2F, 3F Flux-core 1F, 2F, 3F
